25 Ideas To Improve Group Process

Meeting Rules

  1. Set agenda in advance.
  2. All team members attend unless excused.
  3. Be on time.
  4. Review and agree on agenda.
  5. Stick to the agenda.
  6. Agree on, stick to timing.
  7. No side conversations.
  8. No interruptions, phone calls, or wandering in and out.
  9. Team members use good meeting behavior (helping factors).
  10. Summarize results/action steps at end; send out in writing.

Basic Rules of Brainstorming

  1. Everyone is expected to participate.
  2. No criticism or evaluation of anyone’s ideas is allowed.
  3. No idea is labeled silly or dumb.
  4. Participants should build on one another’s idea to gain momentum, trigger new thoughts and increase creativity.
